AGRICULTURE

Agriculture is the mainstay  of Pakistan economy. This sector account for 24 percent of gross domestic products provides employment to about 46.01 percent of the labor force and countries 45 percent of the export earning.
     Pakistan has a diversified agriculture resulting from the variety of climates and physical features. The agriculture year has two main cropping season, Rabi and Kharif
Kharif Crops which are sown between April and June and harvested in October and November include vice, maiza, millets (jowar and bajra) cotton and sugarcane of these crops wheat the main staple food is the single largest crop of the country. Cotton the silver fiber is known all over the world for its fineness and quality ,Cotton, Rice and Sugarcane and the main source of foreign exchange earring of the country. 

Rabi crops are shown after the rainy season in October and November and harvested in spring (April and May) Requiring lower temperatures and less rainfall, crops like wheat, barley, gram and oil seeds are grown in this season.
